The Booster Club is looking for Board members and Committee heads for our 2025-2026 season!

Board Positions

Oversee administrative and day-to-day functions during the fencing season, including organizing the annual Frosh-Soph event with Tournament Manager.

Liaise between Coaches and parents. Communicate with existing new parents and fencers. Coordinate volunteer help, supervise and direct Treasurer, identify parents interested in volunteering on booster club committee. Assist President with Info Night meeting at the high school.

Take and distribute minutes at Board meetings held once per month. Archive minutes and communicate with the Social Media/Web Committee head to disseminate information to the team.

Make deposits and withdrawals as necessary from the club’s bank account. Track revenue received from the Clinic with Clinic Coordinator and Frosh-Soph events.
Pay the town Recreation Center for hosting the program and the Coach for running Spring and Fall clinics.
Make reimbursements for personal purchases made by committee members with substantiating receipts. Manage checkbook, processing of checks, and invoices as needed. Track expenses/revenue for all events and purchases throughout the fencing season providing a P&L report. Send out W2’s tax statements to coaches.
Committee Heads

Update website, Facebook, Instagram. Send out announcements to Remind and all other social media platforms with standard information/pictures regarding the fencing program, meets and all other relevant events

Provides bagels/snacks, water and fruit for the fencers on the bus. Must arrive prior to the departure of the bus for all away meets. Coordinates supplies and volunteer sign-ups with Concession/Food Coordinator.

Manages the Sign-up Genius platform requests for food/money/time slot donations for Pasta Load-Up and Frosh-Soph events. Manages the Frosh-Soph food Concession Committee making the food/beverage purchases for the event.

Coordinate parents to host team pasta parties at their home for Pasta Load-Up night prior to big events (Santilli’s/Cetrulo’s, Districts, and State Championships) to build community and morale

Works with coach and town recreation department, manages the correspondence response to coordinate, sets the dates for the six-week program held at Glenfield Middle School
