2022-2023 Practice Schedule and Policy
Welcome back MHS Fencers! For the 2022-2023 Season, we will practice at Glenfield Middle School.
If any fencer would like to submit for a gym opt-out during the winter season, please print and fill out the PE Opt-Out Form. Coach Donovan will sign the opt-out forms during the first week of practice.
Practices will be from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, Monday to Thursday. Wear sneakers and athletics clothes to each practice. Every team member is expected to attend all practices unless they have an excused absence from a coach. Club practices can be attended in lieu of regular team practices, but fencers must receive prior approval from the coaches to modify their schedules.
There is no locker room access. Please bring your own water to each practice, at least 32oz. No sharing.
Attendance Rules For PRACTICES:
When there is an early dismissal, there is practice as usual.
When there is a delayed opening, there is practice as usual.
When there is no school there is no practice.
When after-school activities are cancelled due to weather, there is no practice.
WHEN THERE IS A MEET, THERE IS NO PRACTICE (coaches will be coaching)
